To appoint places for nations, restore lost hope and courage, give life back to every dead situation, and deliver inheritances into the lives of the people as led and directed by the Holy Spirit.
Church History
‘Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid.’
In 2002 while in a quiet time praying and reading Joyce Meyer ministry magazine (Enjoying everyday life), I was lead to Mathew 5:14-16 and I heard the Lord echoing the 14th verse ‘Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid.’ into my spirit man. At that time I was running a boutique selling clothes and accessories while my husband was still in service under Papa Bishop Oyedepo of Living Faith Church. I thought the Lord wanted to enlarge my business so I registered TOPCITY BOTIQUE.
Request for A Release
At about that same time, God spoke to my husband to begin the process of his exit from his place of work. By august 2003 my husband’s request for a release from service was granted so we moved out of the ministry quarters to an apartment somewhere in Ipaja, Lagos.
Tough Times
Few years after our exit from service, livelihood became tough as no regular income comes from my husband and it became clear that closure of my business is just a matter of time. This led me to become more and more closer to the Lord, seeking His face daily.
Spiritual Retreat
In May 2008, I went for a spiritual retreat in company of a sister on a mountain in Osun State. It was on this mountain that I received the Lord’s call to be used as a vessel of His testimony all over the nations.
Journey to UK
In August 2008, I left for the UK in a bid to comfort my elder sister who had just lost her son and after just few weeks in the UK, the thought of returning back to Nigeria was becoming a burden to me and I began to nurse the idea of staying back in the UK. Having looked for job in UK with no luck, I went on my knees and the Lord told me to go back home to begin His work. When I enquired about the name for the ministry, the Lord flashed me back to the encounter of Mathew 5:14 in 2002, hence the name TOPCITY.
Start of Topcity Fellowship
In December 2008 I came back to Nigeria and Topcity fellowship started in our sitting room few weeks later with divers signs following as a proof of God’s faithfulness.
Inaugural Service
On Thursday the 31st of May 2009, the inaugural covenant service commenced at Turning Point Christian Centre in Alimosho Lagos and it has been from one level of glory to another ever since.
Official Registration
TOPCITY INTERNATIONAL MINISTRY is a registered trustee under corporate affairs commission of Nigeria.
Topcity Growth
Today TOPCITY has grown to become a full-fledged Church, offering worship services on Sundays, bible studies and prayers on Tuesdays, prophetic covenant services on Thursdays, outreaches, crusades, charity and more.
Topcity USA
In November 2016, TOPCITY became a registered entity in the city of Richmond in Virginia in United states with members growing on daily basis To God be all the glory. ~ Prophetess Abraham
